Hi, I am Sandeep Mundra

My name is **Sandeep Mundra**, and I’m the Founder & CEO of IndiaNIC Infotech Limited and TopSpin Club — organisations I built and nurtured over more than 25 years of evolution, innovation and global expansion. My entrepreneurial journey began in India, and today spans four continents with offices in Los Angeles, Melbourne, India, Dubai and Estonia. I’d like to share my story—in first-person, in full transparency—so you can see not just where I’ve been, but how I think, what drives me, and where I’m headed.

I started IndiaNIC in a humble 10 × 10 feet office, with just one person by my side and a belief that technology could transform lives and businesses. Over the years, that belief has been realised through our growth from web-hosting origins to full-stack outsourcing, SaaS product development, mobile and gaming solutions, enterprise web systems, and now AI-enabled innovation for global clients. With over 6,000 team members working across the globe (and over 600+ in India alone), IndiaNIC stands as a testimony to the power of long-term vision, culture-building and consistent execution.

My academic background is rooted in science and accountancy. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Bhilwara, Rajasthan; I later pursued Chartered Accountancy in Mumbai. The transition was from web-hosting to web-development in 1998, then to mobile and gaming after the iPhone launch—and now to AI and SaaS. I believe that in technology, you can’t stand still. You must evolve or become irrelevant.

One of the turning points in my career was when I embraced PHP / Laravel and React as core technologies. I credited this for our ability to service complex SaaS platforms, enterprise portals and dynamic web-based systems. I’m passionate about developing platforms that allow organisations to launch and scale quickly—particularly in SaaS mode—where templates, blocks, content generation and AI-driven automation become the DNA of business acceleration.

At IndiaNIC, we built products and delivered customised solutions for clients across industries—web, mobile, gaming, enterprise software, cloud, AI and emerging technologies. I led the cultural transformation of the company: from one person in a small room to a global delivery organisation with deep focus on innovation, people-centric leadership, quality and long-term client relationships. As noted on my profile, I have been “responsible for determining the overall strategy of the company … building the senior management team, manage and develop the strategy & vision for each functional area.”

Parallel to IndiaNIC, I founded TopSpin Club—a lifestyle and performance centre focused on sports (especially table tennis and badminton), gym workouts, wellness, specialty coffee and community. It reflects my values: discipline, agility, teamwork and enjoyment. I’ve always believed that the mindset of a successful leader comes from more than boardrooms—it comes from the gym, the health-regime, the sport, the long travel, the coffee with friends, the support of loved ones.

In my personal life, I’m a gadget-lover and an Apple enthusiast who spends considerable time working on my Mac, exploring futuristic tech and reading regularly. Travel is a passion—I’ve visited 100 + countries, using each trip as an opportunity to learn, observe, reflect and grow. My success is rooted in the unwavering support of my dedicated wife and two daughters, and I make no secret of the fact that behind every business milestone stands their belief and encouragement.

What drives me? Innovation in technology, leadership through inspiration, and creating environments where teams can thrive. I think of myself not just as a CEO, but as a mentor and guide. We have always invested in people—building teams, nurturing talent, cultivating culture. My company’s presence across four continents (LA, Melbourne, India, Dubai, Estonia) means that we have global perspectives and local understanding, which positions us uniquely to serve clients, build products and pioneer future-ready solutions.

Over the years, we have evolved our services and products dramatically: from being a service-based outsourcing firm to building in-house SaaS platforms, integrating AI, and transforming business models. I personally oversee major strategic initiatives. One example: I’m working on a block-based PHP CMS system with nested structures, JSON-driven content, multilingual support, and AI-powered content generation—because I believe the next leap in enterprise web is not just faster, but smarter.

Another current focus is building our SaaS business based on a robust SMS/WhatsApp campaign platform . The idea: let users send email & WhatsApp campaigns via scheduled or instant workflows, integrate via APIs with third-party systems, and enable full automation. That’s part of our vision of “software as a service that scales with you”.

Travel, I should say, does more than refresh me—it informs me. Visiting over 100 countries has given me insights into culture, business practices, innovation ecosystems and emerging markets. I carry those learnings into boardroom discussions, product roadmaps, team-culture debates and strategy sessions. My sports and fitness routines keep me grounded, agile and ready for whatever the tech world throws at me.

I strongly believe in “leaders as teachers”. I’ve spent years mentoring senior management at IndiaNIC, guiding them beyond “what to build” into “why to build”, “for whom” and “how to scale responsibly”. I’m also a leadership directory and mentor at one of Gujarat’s best lifestyle clubs—which again ties back to my belief that leadership, sport and wellness are deeply interconnected.

When I look to the future, I see the world moving into AI, Web 3.0, ubiquitous automation, immersive experiences, zero-carbon-tech and truly global product organisations. My company is ready. We’ve built the foundations, scaled the team, grown the culture, mastered the platforms—and now we’re launching into the next era where every business is a software business, every user is a global citizen, and every product must anticipate tomorrow.
